Future Plans
I’m not entirely sure what the future holds for me. I’d like to remain in Education, be it Higher Education doing EdTechy things or as an Academic Developer, in the private sector as Learning Designer or Trainer maybe going on to do a PGCE in Mathematics and going on to teach college and secondary students.
If I stay in Higher Education, I would build up my experience to work towards the CMALT, gain Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and network more by going to events such as MUGGL, M25 LTGs among others. I would also like to work with lecturers to help them develop more confidence in their own use of educational technologies. It would also be nice to get involved in more instructional design and learning analytics projects.
